I am a big Keeping up with the Kardashian's fan.. I absolutely love the show & think the family dynamic is awesome. Since watching the show, I have began to notice, how Kendall Jenner (half sister to Kim, Khloe & Kourtney) is growing up, and how beautiful she is!

A couple of months ago I could have said... aspiring model, but Kendall is already signed with a big time agency, Wilhelmina Models and has modelled for Forever 21 and  Luca Couture. Kendall is also the spokesperson for Nordstrom.

Kendall has also been featured in Teen Vogue, and Paper magazine.

It appears Kendall is already making a name for herself, at only 16.

protea pretty

So today I decided to give my computer desk a new lease on life..
I found this amazing protea flower at Casa Rosa, in Port Elizabeth South Africa - where I live.

I think it is so beautiful, and I bought the vase there aswell. Its that old.. messed up look of the vase that I love so much. The cute touch with the pale pink rafia around the neck of it also compliments the color of the protea fabulously.

Whats wonderful about these flowers.. is one can dry them out by painting them with watered down white paint/ (white wash effect) to set them forever.

I just love my desk now!

There is something about Ashley Olsen.. that makes me just stop, and think wow.
Wow her hair.. wow her skin.. wow her eyes, everything is just that stop and stare beautiful.

Perhaps I may be an island on this one, im not entirely sure, all I know is she is one of those girls that when I look at a picture of her im like, I must highlight my hair. I must buy a dress like that. I must find a bag like that.

I absolutely love fabulous outfits that show some skin.
A girl doesnt need to be completely covered up to look classy, and chic.

Obvisiously.. like everything, a little balance needs to be taken into consideration when deciding what to wear with that mini skirt.. but as you will clearly see in these pictures. Short can definitly be classy chic & hot.

Blake Lively and Daria Verbowy proved this to us when they wore that incredible black Balmain dress. I still cant decide who looks better.

nail pretty

I have been wanting to update my nailpolish collection for some time now.

I tend to love one color.. and wear it flat. Right now, it’s a pale lilac color that I have murdered over the last 4 months.

I want to be one of those girls.. that changes it up regularly, but I never quite seem to get there.

I love pastel colors, and especially pale pink and blue. Im starting to love grey though, and also white.

I can picture a gorgeous all black outfit, with either gray , or white nails looking completely fabulous.

What do you think of these colors? Which is your favorite? If I absolutely had to choose just one, I would most probably say the pastel orange is something I’d  love to experiment with.  It is unusual, and different.

the maiden voyage

Hello! This is a brand spanking new blog.... in fact,, (as im sure you have noticed) this is the very first post!

I have always wanted to start a blog.. about just stuff that i like. Stuff that I think is cool.. and worth blogging about. I really love taking time to read other blogs..and find a lot of inspiration and depth in so many strangers words. It is a very cool thing.

I hope I will have some worthwhile additions to the blogging world.. and hope that you  will follow my words, and posts in the future :)
