I found this amazing protea flower at Casa Rosa, in Port Elizabeth South Africa - where I live.
I think it is so beautiful, and I bought the vase there aswell. Its that old.. messed up look of the vase that I love so much. The cute touch with the pale pink rafia around the neck of it also compliments the color of the protea fabulously.
Whats wonderful about these flowers.. is one can dry them out by painting them with watered down white paint/ (white wash effect) to set them forever.
What a fantastic idea! I keep a hyacinth on my desk, it looks beautiful and smells divine!
